In preparation for their second Japanese tour in October, Japanese pianist Atzko Kohashi and bassist Tony Overwater perform their repertoire for Splendor. In addition to compositions from their latest album Porgy, they also play work from earlier successful albums such as A Drum Thing and Crescent. The piano and double bass are equal partners, with melody and harmony intertwining in an intimate interplay: close, yet fragile and dynamic.
