With a career spanning over fifty years, Jamaican reggae singer Burning Spear (real name: Winston Rodney) is one of the most important artists in roots reggae. Burning Spear broke through in 1973 with his third album, Marcus Garvey, his first record on the legendary Island Records label (which also launched the careers of Bob Marley and Toots And The Maytals). In the early eighties, he consolidated his success with the album Hail HIM and the songs Columbus and African Teacher from it. Expect many classics tonight, in addition to work from Burning Spear's new album No Destroyer (2023)!
Please note: tickets are €3 more expensive on the day of the concert.
