Chicco , a native of The Hague, has become a recognizable and widely recognized name in the Dutch pop and folk scene over the past two years. He achieved national fame through De Hollandse Nieuwe (SBS6), where his emotional and humorous performance of "Adio Amore" immediately caught the eye of both the audience and the jury. His breakthrough single, " Veeg Ze Van Het Matje," subsequently became a folk anthem with cult status and was widely embraced in pubs, living rooms, and on social media.
On September 10, Chicco will have his own show at PAARD , where he will perform his greatest hits live for his home audience.
In 2025, Chicco single-handedly sold out the main hall of PAARD in The Hague. He also opened for Goldband at a sold-out Ziggo Dome. With his energetic live shows and strong audience interaction, he's built a fast-growing and loyal fan base. Despite his young age, he can already look back on an impressive start to his musical career. Chicco van de Luijtgaarden is undoubtedly one to keep an eye on.
