Chinese American Bear is a cheerful and somewhat quirky American indie pop duo consisting of married couple Anne Tong and Bryce Barsten. Together, they create a playful mix of lo-fi, bedroom pop, and synth-pop, sung in both English and Mandarin. The lyrics cover all the things they love: food, enjoying the little things, their Chinese-American upbringing, love, and fairy tales. On May 8, 2026, Chinese American Bear’s third album, Dim Sum & Then Some, will be released – among the three tracks already released are at least two bangers: No No Yeah Yeah and All The People!
