American singer-songwriter Brooklyn Dekker, AKA Dekker, creates honest and raw folk songs and is slowly conquering the world. On Saturday, April 25, he'll perform his solo work for the first time at Patronaat.

As half of the British/American indie folk duo Rue Royale, Dekker has already created beautiful songs, but solo, he's chosen a slightly darker path. His songs explore sensitive themes like depression and the hysteria of our times. He's released no fewer than three albums in recent years, and number four is on the way, with the single "The Dove" as a great preview.
