German power metal band Dominum, led by Dr. Dead, combines (zombie) horror with delightfully bombastic songs, almost all of which are stadium-worthy. Their debut album, Hey Living People (2023), marked their breakthrough – Dominum pulls out catchy riffs from their worn-out sleeves, but also excels at covers: they've included pieces by Billie Eilish, Midnight Oil, and the evergreen Rock You Like A Hurricane by fellow Germans The Scorpions.
