A Doodswens concert is more than just a musical experience. It is a ritual with an altar on stage and sage smoke in the hall. The black metal band led by Inge van der Zon takes you into the deepest emotions surrounding life and death. The music exposes the darkest sides of the human spirit, from the struggle with negativity to the scorching grip of depression. Doodswens offers no comfort, but seeks confrontation and irrevocably draws the audience into the tension between the occult and human suffering.
Inge van der Zon handles both drums and vocals and is backed by R. and P. on bass and guitar. Doodswens rose from the underground to become a name in the genre and toured successfully with Marduk and Gorgoroth, among others.
