Simon Henner, the driving force behind French 79, has developed over the past few years into an indispensable producer within the international electronic music world. The producer from Marseille released three albums that laid the foundation for his unique sound: 'Olympic', 'Joshua', and 'TEENAGERS'. His work transcends the boundaries of techno through harmonic sequences and arpeggios that transform sound into emotional landscapes.
For his fourth album, expected at the end of 2026, Henner took a different approach. He traded the familiar studio for a self-built modular synthesizer in a suitcase. With this nomadic studio, he sought silence and extremes, from a sailboat on the Mediterranean Sea to remote mountain huts around the peaks of Chamonix. By converting adrenaline and physical elements into music, he pays tribute to both the pioneers of electronics and the overwhelming power of nature.
