Since 1999, the international punk band Gogol Bordello has been known for their explosive live shows and boundless energy. Led by Ukrainian frontman Eugene Hütz, the band emerged in the vibrant underground scene of New York's Lower East Side. What began with acoustic performances in Ukrainian bars grew into a multicultural eight-piece band that combines influences from Eastern European music, punk, rock, and Latin into their signature ' gypsy-punk ' sound.
Over the years, Gogol Bordello played all over the world and shared the stage with bands such as System of a Down, Primus, Rancid, and Dropkick Murphys. They also collaborated with artists and producers like Regina Spektor, Rick Rubin, and Steve Albini.
