To Whom This May Concern world tour encompasses 36 shows in the United States, Europe, the United Kingdom and South Africa. The tour starts in Nashville and then travels through major American cities including Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Atlanta, Oakland, Washington D.C. and Scott's birthplace Philadelphia, followed by shows in the United Kingdom, Europe and South Africa. The To Whom This May Concern Tour centers on residency-style performances with live band instrumentation at its core. The performances are rooted in live musicality, purposeful storytelling and the unmistakable warmth of Jill Scott's voice. In each city uniquely curated shows are presented that are designed to create a deep connection between the artist and the audience. Creating unique experiences for visitors in each city is incredibly important to me, says Scott. Music is a conversation and the stage is the place where we come together to share truth, joy and the beauty of life. Jill Scott is known for live performances that combine power, intimacy and authenticity. She returns to the stage with a very strong live band and delivers vocals that often surpass her studio recordings, one of the reasons she continues to be seen as one of the most respected voices in music. Jilly from Philly brings warmth, honesty and a mature, sensual energy to the stage. Jill Scott shows how the power of music can heal, can celebrate and bring us together. The announcement of the tour follows the release of Jill Scott's acclaimed sixth studio album named To Whom This May Concern, her first studio album in more than ten years. The album received much critical praise and debuted in the Top 10 of no fewer than seven Billboard charts and has been streamed more than 35 million times. The upcoming tour serves as a global celebration of both the new album and Scott's enduring musical legacy.
