A musical journey from prayer to desire. Young & Passionate: Larisa Duo
In Between Prayers & Dreams, soprano Ariel Sin-Yu Lee and pianist Lisa Angelia Tanto take you on a musical journey in which prayer and longing slowly intertwine.
From prayer to longing
The journey begins in the Baroque, where music is still directly connected to faith and surrender. In works by Bach and Handel, stillness and trust resonate. Gradually, this shifts to something more personal: with Fauré and Verdi, the music becomes more intimate, vulnerable, and introspective.
