Lionstorm is the first explicitly queer music duo from the Netherlands, consisting of Ski and Stars. With their own raw, aggressive style, they combine horrorcore, reggaeton, and industrial metal, and revolve around themes such as queer identity, female sexuality, and breaking taboos.
𝗟𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗠 is known for their unpredictable performances. One moment you are twerking, and the next you find yourself in the middle of a mosh pit. The duo got off to a flying start when their debut single 'No H8ro' was named the queer anthem of 2019 by iD Magazine. Despite (or thanks to) bans on YouTube and Instagram, they continue to provoke, create, and inspire.
Lionstorm has already toured Japan and Europe and impressed at festivals such as Rolling Loud Netherlands, The Great Escape UK, and Fusion Festival Germany. Their debut album, THE KING IS DEAD, will be released in February.
