Northern Irish audiovisual artist/producer Max Cooper is not only an electronic musician but also a doctor of computational biology. However, in 2010, he decided to devote himself entirely to music, inspired by artists such as Jon Hopkins, Sigur Rós, and Ólafur Arnalds. He has since created seven albums featuring intelligent electronica, techno, and IDM, in which his scientific background also shines through: Cooper constantly questions what it means to be human. On May 8, his new album Feeling Is Structure will be released, with Ebb + Flow and Pattern Index already released as previews. Expect a spectacular fusion of sound and video art this evening!
