Modulation is Utrecht's premier hardware and modular-focused electronic music community. During Modulation, you find yourself in an intimate setting where you come face-to-face with man and machine. Whether you are a die-hard synth fanatic or just curious about what that big box of wires does, Modulation is for everyone.
On Thursday, October 8, Modulation and Uncloud join forces once again. The collaboration dates back to the very first edition of Uncloud in 2016. This year, Uncloud celebrates its 10th anniversary with the 10th edition of Breaking the Binary. From October 1 to 11, the festival presents a program full of digital and sonic culture throughout Utrecht, including an immersive circuit exhibition, concerts, workshops, and special evenings.
For this special edition at De Helling, a line-up is ready in which instrumentation, experimentation, and improvisation take center stage. Britt van den Boogaard, Estroe & Raaf, and Puck Wacki take you along the boundaries of electronic music, where hardware and human are in constant dialogue.
