The Dutch art-pop band the NITS celebrated their fiftieth anniversary in 2024. As befits a band that constantly renews itself, they did not release an easy compilation album that year, but a record with new work: Tree House Fire. Singer/lyricist Henk Hofstede, drummer Rob Kloet and keyboardist Robert Jan Stips are already working on new material, because the story of the NITS is far from over – as OOR wrote in its review of Tree House Fire: 'Who after fifty years still makes such beautiful music, you can only wish one thing: on to the hundred!'
