Indie Playground and DE FLUX bring New Dutch Naivety back to Zaandam! On October 17, De Kade awaits an amazing showcase featuring five artists and two fast-paced spoken word artists. Expect an evening packed with underground music, with varied shows that switch at a rapid pace and leave room for bizarre moments.
Nieuwe Nederlandse Naïviteit represents the contemporary Dutch-language underground. Punk, gabberpunk, post-punk, shoegaze, avant-garde, stoner, indie pop—all alternative genres are represented. Outsider spoken word artists and stage poets complete the roster: dissidents, outsiders, mavericks, and rebels. The two compilation albums (on the Petrol Candy label) garnered attention both domestically and internationally. The touring circus began in October 2024 with the now-legendary underground marathon at De Bovenkruier in Zaandam. Subsequently, the caravan moved on to many major underground venues in the Netherlands and Belgium. Also check: nieuwenederlandsenaiviteit.nl
