In Balsamicosiroop, Papieren Helden explores what lies behind smooth talk, propaganda, and complacency. Writers and performers, on the other hand, seek something real: personal stories about identity, youth, friendship, history, and the world we live in.
Lies Gallez, Khadija Elberdai, Megan van Kessel, Jacky Kuiper, Jam van der Aa, Valentijn de Heer, and Berkman & Berkmann present their work in an evening full of literature, music, and performance. Do not expect polished recitations, but a literary jam session where language and music seek each other out, with room for experimentation and unexpected forms.
Balsamic Syrup is the third episode of Proefkonijn, the series by Papieren Helden in the Attic Hall of Theater de Richel.
