Everything comes to an end! On Friday, October 30, Queen's Pleasure plays one of the final shows of their existence at Patronaat. After ten years, three albums, sold-out club tours, and appearances on TV, radio, and major festivals, the Amsterdam indie rock band bids farewell with a final round of clubs. Over those ten years, Queen's Pleasure grew into a fixture in Dutch indie rock. They shared the stage with names like Noel Gallagher, Wunderhorse, and The Undertones, building a reputation with their melodic songs, sharp guitars, and energetic live shows. For their most recent work, the band took more creative control than ever before, exploring new sounds and production techniques without losing sight of their indie rock roots. Live, everything comes together. What the band builds on record gains extra power on stage through the tight interplay between the four musicians. Support Jacht Jacht captures what it feels like to be young in an alienating political reality. The four-piece band weaves Dutch-language indie, protest folk, and alternative rock into a melancholic sound of their own. Think of the intensity of Fontaines DC, the multi-layered vocals of LOW, and the poetry of Wende. The lyrics balance personal insights and sharp political statements—sometimes dreamy and melancholic, sometimes raw and outspoken. The vocal harmonies of Hannah Veldhoen and Wiebe Heetvelt form the heart of Jacht. Jacht has released two EPs and participated in the Popronde. Their debut album 'Ze Noemen Me Een Dromer' will be released on March 12, 2027.
