INFECTIOUS AUSTRALIAN EGG PUNK WITH JANGLEPOP INFLUENCES
RMFC is the project of multi-instrumentalist Buz Clatworthy. What started as a home studio project has grown into a full-fledged live band and a major player within the global DIY punk underground. With the album 'Club Hits' (2023), he emerged as one of the standard-bearers of the egg punk scene, albeit supplemented with influences from post-punk and New Zealand jangle-pop. His sound has a strong DIY ethos and is raw, full of fuzzy guitars and catchy hooks. After previous egg punk nights at EKKO and De Nijverheid, it is now RMFC's turn again to further put the scene on the map.
Support: Ultragoblin.
The Haarlem-based band Ultragoblin makes short and mean songs with double guitar, bass, and a wailing synth wall. While it sounds like the drummer is falling down the stairs, they create a hard-hitting garage-synthpunk mess.
Support: Quatsch
Crazy synth, pounding bass, thumping drums, and mad screeching. Quatsch means nonsense.
