Legendary English singer-songwriter Richard Thompson began his career in the late 1960s as a guitarist with the folk-rock band Fairport Convention, but soon went solo. This resulted in classic albums like "I Want To See The Bright Lights Tonight" (1974), "Shoot Out The Lights" (1982, both with his then-wife Linda Thompson), and "Rumour And Sigh" (1991). Virtuoso fingerpicking and dark, poetic lyrics are Thompson's trademarks, also on his latest album, "Ship To Shore" (2024). Thompson is joined tonight by his life partner, singer-songwriter Zara Phillips!
