Ruben Hillen is a Dutch singer-songwriter who became known to the general public through his participation in the thirteenth season of The Voice of Holland. With his distinctive voice, sincere performances, and strong stage presence, he managed to win over both the coaches and the viewers. He combines emotion, energy, and musicality in his performances, in which influences from pop, soul, and modern singer-songwriter music come together.

Despite his down-to-earth nature, Ruben manages to win over the audience at every performance with his intensity and honesty, qualities that have allowed him to develop into a promising new name within the Dutch music scene in a short time.

Even before his participation in The Voice, Ruben had been active in music for years as the frontman of cover band Unite, where he gained extensive live experience and developed into a versatile performer. Immediately after winning the finale, he released his first solo single, '20 Seconds ' . The day after the finale, coaches Suzan & Freek announced that Ruben would perform as the opening act for their concerts at the GelreDome; additionally, he will also perform at Concert at Sea in June.
