Hengelo native Ruben Hillen won the thirteenth season of The Voice of Holland in May and responded with his characteristic down-to-earth attitude: 'I could cry, but I still have to sing.' He then sang his catchy new single 20 Seconds (2026). Of all the contestants, Hillen was the one who showed the most growth, from his somewhat shy start with Patience (Take That) to the gloriously sung Sign Of The Times (Harry Styles), with which he won the final. Coaches Suzan & Freek immediately took him to the Gelredome as their support act; tonight, Ruben takes the main stage himself!
