With a distinctive mix of trip-hop, Britpop, and garage rock, SOFY defies genre classification. Even before releasing her first songs, her demos were already being played on BBC Radio 1 and she received praise from Arlo Parks, Sam Fender, and Yungblud. Shortly thereafter, the Leicester-born songwriter performed at Glastonbury Festival and created the soundtrack for EA Sports FC, which propelled her career forward. In the years that followed, she independently released two EPs and two mixtapes, played sold-out shows, and toured with Liam Gallagher and Sabrina Carpenter. This summer, SOFY can be seen supporting Kasabian and The Libertines in the run-up to her debut album 'How To Perform Magic': her most vulnerable and experimental work to date.
