The American band Son Lux combines electronics, post-rock, and a hefty dose of experimental drive into a unique sound. You could also see Son Lux as a sound laboratory where music is deconstructed to the molecule and then put back together. All under the leadership of Ryan Lott, who started Son Lux in 2008 as a solo project and expanded it into a trio in 2014. Besides being experimental, the band is also productive: in 2025 they made the soundtrack for the Marvel movie Thunderbolts and released the EP Risk Of Make Believe, this fall Out Into, their ninth studio album, will be released!
