Australia's most exported product is currently iron ore, closely followed by equally brutal but more environmentally friendly guitar rock music. After a few great years, these punks from Maarn/Melbourne have grown into a massive sensation in the rock 'n' roll world!
The band has not been sitting still in recent years, but has toured non-stop to deliver their raw, energetic live shows all over the world. In doing so, Split System has built up a loyal group of fans at home and abroad in a short time by combining blistering punk with catchy choruses, and by delivering energetic and sweaty live shows at a furious pace.
The ETTERS:
This trio formed when Sjerrie (ex-The Jerry Hormone Ego Trip, ex-The Apers) was told at age 42 that he had to either buy a Harley or start a hell of a racket band. He chose option two. And with the help of Loena on bass and Keet on drums, The ETTERS were born. Dutch-language garage punk with song titles like 'Geen hoofd' (No Head) and 'Lekker speed snuiven' (Snorting Speed). Their debut album is titled 'The ETTERS maken je helemaal DOOD!' (The ETTERS Make You Absolutely Dead!), and they also promise to present their new single, so it just doesn't get any better!
