The rise of AI use in music has grown exponentially, therefore we feel the necessity to create more awareness about its use and effects.
In this event we’d like to have an open minded but critical conversation about the already existing effect of AI in music. Even though a lot of AI’s influence is harmful to both the musician and the music enjoyer, we would also like to gently explore how AI can be used to enhance the human music experience. We take a look at AI in music from different angles, both from the musicians and listeners perspective, but also from a broader perspective in other creative ventures. AI is a topic that is too big to cover in a single event, so we chose to keep it focussed on music since that is where we are most knowledgeable, passionate and familiar.
Producer Jelee will lead the conversation and we’ve invited three guests to join the panel and show their different points of view: Matthijs Dierckx, Steve Hartley, & Diederik de Geus aka Solution.
