On Thursday, May 7, Super-Sonic Jazz returns to Skatecafe for a brand-new edition of Super-Sonic Jam. The concept of Super-Sonic Jam originated a few years ago in the basement of Paradiso during the annual Super-Sonic Jazz Festival. During these informal jam sessions, musicians and visitors came together to play until deep into the night; everything revolved around spontaneity, creativity, and improvisation.
Since early 2024, Super-Sonic Jam has been taking place at Skatecafe, where every edition to date has invariably sold out in no time. During these evenings, Super-Sonic Jazz invites various artists and collectives to host the jam. Previously, the stage has been taken over by London's Steam Down , Rotterdam's House of Knowledge , Haarlem's INI Movement , and the Amsterdam initiatives Els Jam and Higherlife Jam .

Who will be leading the music for this edition remains a surprise for now, but one thing is certain: every edition is bursting with energy, with guest musicians and vocalists who spontaneously elevate the set to a higher level. Expect a thrilling fusion of talent, energy, improvisation, and musical magic.
