The HU is a Mongolian metal band that creates a unique form of folk metal with traditional overtone singing and instruments like the morin khuur (horsehead fiddle). Unlike many metal bands, the four members did not study at the university of the street, but all attended the conservatory. Their debut album The Gereg (2019) put The HU on the map (their music was used in Star Wars video games), followed by Rumble Of Thunder in 2022. Album number three is on the way. Let's hope they also play their Metallica cover Sad But True!
