Dutch singer/keyboardist Thijs Boontjes is a frontman who strikes a balance between charming folk singer and charismatic rock star. Where Boontjes is, there is atmosphere – a bit of Brood and a touch of Hazes, all rolled into one. In 2024, Boontjes' most recent album, Dancing Boontjes, was released, the successor to his debut Geen Achttien Meer (2019). A new EP full of danceable Dutch-Italo songs is scheduled for release this autumn!
