Thijs Veldhuis made it to the final of The Voice of Holland this year , where he impressed with flawless renditions of songs by Rufus Wainwright, Tom Odell, and Keane, among others. But behind that powerful voice lies a true artist: a young singer-songwriter from Utrecht who writes personal songs at the intersection of indie, pop, and rock. His debut single, Lovely Day, marks the beginning of a new chapter, featuring original work that sounds as vulnerable as it is grand. On October 13, Thijs Veldhuis will perform at Rotown with new material, supplemented by songs with which he impressed on The Voice.
