This summer, Trans Podium returns to Paradiso. During this evening, transgender people will have the opportunity to make their voices heard, both literally and figuratively, on stage. As previous editions have shown, you can expect a diverse evening with performances by participants sharing their talents: from singing and spoken word to instrumental music and other forms of performance. There will be room for expression, visibility, and the celebration of the voice in all its forms.
The evening takes place in the midst of Amsterdam Pride , when LGBTQ+ organizations throughout the city organize a month of activities focused on visibility, community, and the freedom to be yourself. This year, the period takes on added significance: for the first time, WorldPride is also coming to Amsterdam, in honor of the 25th anniversary of the first same-sex marriage ceremony.
