BIGGEST HITS FROM 40 YEARS OF EKKO PASS UP IN SPECTACLE WITH HOUSE BAND AFTERPARTEES AND ALL-STAR CAST
From 'Chaise Longue' to 'Take Me Out' and from 'Space Song' to 'Seventeen Going Under', 40 years of EKKO history could fill a substantial stack of Hitzones. It is, of course, fantastic that we get to welcome back a number of stars during our anniversary, but it is perhaps even more fun to celebrate our birthday with Afterpartees. The Limburg power poppers have been close friends of ours for years, and they have assembled a veritable star cast to brilliantly perform the greatest hits from 40 years of EKKO.
Expect a stage full of singing EKKO comrades, with Annelotte de Graaf (Amber Arcades), Jasper Boogaard (Nagasaki Swim), Jazzebelle Daalman (C'est Qui?), Niels Koster (Throwing Bricks), Lot van Teylingen (Library Card), Robin Kester, Pip Blom & Willem Smit (Personal Trainer), and Pitou. Even former Utrechter of the Year Johan Gijsen and (Singer) DJ St. Paul proved no match for the charms of Afterpartees frontman Niek Nellen and will be making an appearance. We are keeping the specific hits that made the setlist a secret for now, but it is certain that Vrienden van EKKO Live will be a memorable evening.
