Group of Friends is an Amsterdam collective led by drummer and composer Yoràn Vroom. The music is inspired by folkloric traditions from around the world, with a strong foundation in Afro-diasporic music. Improvisation plays a major role. The group creates and performs Vroom's own compositions and constantly seeks new sounds and forms. The result is music that touches both the heart and the mind.
