1. General Information about Strip Fest
What is Strip Fest?
Strip Fest is the first recurring festival in the Hamerkwartier in Amsterdam Noord, where art, music, food, and culture come together. The festival takes place on May 24, 2025, and offers a diverse program both during the day and in the evening.

Why is Strip Fest organized?
Strip Fest was created to celebrate the vibrant cultural life in the Hamerkwartier and to highlight the unique locations in Amsterdam Noord. The festival brings people together for a day full of fun, discovery, and connection.

What makes Strip Fest special?
Strip Fest is unique because it takes place at at least 20 different locations in the Hamerkwartier, each with its own atmosphere and program. From live music and art to delicious food and activities for kids, there’s something for everyone to enjoy!

Who is involved?
Strip Fest is organized in collaboration with local businesses in the Hamerkwartier. Check out the participating locations on our Noord-Noord Metro Line.

2. Program and Activities
When will the program be announced?
The program will be shared gradually. Keep an eye on our website and social media for updates!

What are the Strip Fest times?
The festival starts at 11:00 AM and runs until 3:00 AM. During the day, the program is focused on families and kids, while in the evening, the focus shifts to live music and parties for adults.

Is there something different to do and see at each location?
Yes! Each location has its own program. Walk into any venue and discover what makes them unique.

What kind of food is available?
There’s something for everyone! From pizza at Europizza to culinary delights at Hotel de Goudfazant. Most locations will also offer small snacks.

What age group is the daytime (kids) program suitable for?
The daytime program is suitable for kids of all ages, with plenty to see and explore at each location. Each venue organizes its own program.

3. Tickets and Access
Is it free?
Most of Strip Fest is free. From 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM, there are plenty of activities and programming to enjoy.
From 6:00 PM onwards, some locations require a ticket for certain programs.
After 10:00 PM, most locations can only be accessed with a passe-partout ticket, which grants entry to all venues (full=full).
A passe-partout ticket costs €25 and provides access to all locations (capacity permitting).

Where can I buy tickets?
Tickets will soon be available on our website, www.stripfest.nl, or via the link in our Instagram bio. Follow our Instagram for updates.

How does the passe-partout ticket work?
With a passe-partout ticket, you have access to all participating nighttime locations, but keep in mind: capacity is limited. Make sure to arrive early for the most popular activities.

Is the festival open to the public?
Yes, everyone is welcome! However, you’ll need a ticket for the passe-partout program.

4. Practical Information
What about toilets, lockers, and coat storage?
Each location has its own facilities, such as toilets and coat check areas. There are no central lockers, so only bring what you need.

How do I get there?
The Hamerkwartier is easily accessible by public transport (bus and ferry) and by bike. Parking is limited, so we recommend using public transport or cycling.

Is the festival accessible for people with health conditions or impairments?
Most locations are accessible for all people

Can I bring my own food and drinks?
Yes, bringing your own food and drinks is allowed. However, please do not consume them inside any of the venues, as this is considered impolite.

5. Safety and Rules
What happens in case of bad weather?
Strip Fest will go on, rain or shine. If you want to stay dry, consider bringing an umbrella or raincoat, or head indoors.

What should I do if I lose something?
Cry and email the location where you think you lost it.

Are there lockers? Can I store my jacket somewhere?
Each location handles its own lockers/jackets facility (or not). Make sure to collect your belongings on time, as some locations close earlier than others. If your jacket ends up behind locked doors, the non-existent management will not take responsibility 🙂

Can I volunteer at Strip Fest?
Yes, you’re welcome to help out. Each location creates its own program, so if a specific venue appeals to you, you can contact them directly. If you’d like to help with the general organization, email us at info@stripfest.nl.

Is there an age limit for the passe-partout program?
The passe-partout program has an age restriction of 18+. However, individual locations reserve the right to enforce an age restriction of 21+ too.

Can I participate as an artist or vendor?
Contact one or all of the locations for opportunities to participate as an artist. It’s possible that one of the 20 locations will respond.
