Put on your red hat! After a sold-out show in 2024, Drukwerk returns to Patronaat on Friday, October 10. Who doesn't know them? Frontman Harry Slinger and musicians Ton Coster, Joop May, and Hans Witteveen formed one of the most popular Nederpop bands ever in the lively streets of Amsterdam in 1978. As Drukwerk, they stood on the barricades of the late 70s with protest songs addressing burning issues of the time, such as youth center closures and housing shortages.

In the glorious year 1981, they conquered hearts with the golden hit 'Je Loog Tegen Mij', a song that not only dominated the Dutch Top 40 but also stood the test of time as a staple in the NPO Radio 2 Top 2000. Over the next ten years, Drukwerk released seven studio albums with hits like 'Marianneke', 'Schijn ’n Lichtje Op Mij', and 'Hee Amsterdam'. Today, the band, led by Harry Slinger and including his son Bram, continues to deliver beloved songs, vibrant and meaningful as ever.
