By integrating elements of melodic death metal, classical symphonies and Slavic traditional music, the Southern French band Aephanemer have developed a sound that will potentially influence a whole new generation of metal artists. On Sunday 30 November you can hear it live in Patronaat!

After their breakthrough in 2014 with the EP Know Thyself and the successful album Memento Mori in 2016, Aephanemer quickly became an important name in the scene. Their impressive music, energetic live performances (like at Wacken Open Air) and modern sound caught the attention of Napalm Records, who re-released their album Prokopton in 2019. With their latest album A Dream of Wilderness , mixed by Dan Swanö and mastered by Mika Jussila, Aephanemer definitively establishes themselves as a top band in the genre.
