AUSTRALIAN SYNTH-POP FULL OF SHOWBIZZ, SATIRE, AND SOCIAL CRITICISM
Australian cult figure Alex Cameron brings together sharp observations, dark humor, and glossy synth-pop in a quirky universe full of outsiders and self-destructive anti-heroes. With albums like 'Forced Witness', 'Miami Memory', and 'Oxy Music', he has grown into one of the most distinctive voices in alternative pop, wrapping personal stories and social criticism in irresistible melodies.
His fifth album, 'Late To Set', will be released this summer, on which Cameron once again explores the boundaries between fiction and reality. After collaborations with Angel Olsen and Brandon Flowers, among others, and tours with artists such as Mac DeMarco and soon The Strokes, he is making a stop in Utrecht for an intimate show at EKKO.
