Alex G has been writing layered, elusive songs for over ten years, navigating between Americana, indie pop, and lo-fi experimentation. During this time, he has evolved from a bedroom producer to a staple of alternative guitar music. His work is often compared to that of artists like Elliott Smith or Sparklehorse, but those who listen closely will hear his very own voice. On his latest album 'Headlights', he returns to the ground where he feels most at home: stories filled with distorted memories, environments that almost seem right, and emotions that don't always need a name. The songs are recorded with a small group of regular musicians, yet they sound grand in their eccentricity. This is his tenth studio album, and once again a record that slowly but relentlessly nests under the skin.

Paradiso is on Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city, there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
