Algra is the brand new project of songwriter and frontman Arend Dijkstra, formerly of The Great Communicators. The music moves between intimate piano songs and layered band arrangements, supported by a very strong rhythm section.

The lyrics sound as disarming as they are confronting, with an intensity that distinguishes Algra within the Dutch indie field. In January the first single, Precious Time from the debut album Ambla, will be released.

With his impressive voice and original songs, Wolfgang (17) is one of the most striking young talents of the Netherlands. His music moves effortlessly from powerful and raw to small and fragile. The jury of Mooie Noten 2024, which he won as the youngest participant ever, called him "the promise for the future". His work is regularly compared to artists like Jeff Buckley and Tamino: intense, layered and full of tension.

In 2025 Wolfgang released the self-produced singles For Someone Like You, Bruises and Getting Closer.
