AZ, born Anthony Cruz in Brooklyn, New York, broke through in 1994 with his legendary contribution to " Life's a Bitch" on Nas's debut album Illmatic . A year later, his own debut, "Doe or Die ," followed, definitively establishing him as a lyrical heavyweight. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with greats like Nas, Foxy Brown, and The Firm, and is known as one of the most underrated MCs in old-school hip-hop. With timeless tracks like "Sugar Hill" and "Mo Money, Mo Murder, Mo Homicide, " AZ remains an icon for fans of authentic hip-hop. It promises to be an evening full of classics, deep rhymes, and the unique energy of a New York rap legend.
