The British four-piece band bdrmm (pronounced 'bedroom') released their debut album 'Bedroom' in 2020 which is reminiscent of shoegaze from the nineties and lo-fi noise bands. After releasing their debut it went fast and it was not long before the band signed with Sonic Cathedral, a label known as a music paradise for noise. On the newest album 'Microtonic' it is immediately clear that the band has taken new directions, that this is the most mature and complete work of the band so far. The characteristic sound of bdrmm has certainly not completely disappeared. You can still hear layered guitars that seamlessly blend with spinning basses and pounding drums to create immersive waves, but they are now integrated into a broader, more extensive and varied sound palette.
