Bintangs – Bye Bye Haarlem.
Farewell of Haarlem blues rockers
In the year that the Bintangs celebrate their 65th anniversary (1961-2026) the oldest band in the Netherlands has decided to make their final sprint from that jubilee. They will therefore be at Patronaat on Saturday 5 September for their last performance in Haarlem.
Unfortunately all good things come to an end, also the Bintangs after 65 years. Their very last show is in Alkmaar, but of course the band will not skip Haarlem during their series of final performances. It is exceptional that bands last as long as the Bintangs. The last ten years with Marco Nicola, Dagomar Jansen, Burt van der Meij and Bintang-from-the-first-hour Frank Kraaijeveld. In this line-up the Bintangs have made three albums and given beautiful concerts. But you have to stop sometime, so the band does that in their 65th anniversary year.
