Ronnie Wood has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice. First with his band The Faces, and later with The Rolling Stones, of which he has been the guitarist since 1975. He is renowned worldwide for his distinctive guitar playing and charismatic presence. In addition to his work with The Rolling Stones, The Faces, and the Jeff Beck Group, Wood has built an impressive solo career. He has released seven solo albums and collaborated with Rod Stewart, Prince, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, and Aretha Franklin. Wood is also a respected painter. All of this makes him an icon of British rock culture.
The Rolling Stones,
Paradiso, and The Rolling Stones are inextricably linked. They are one of the artists to whom Paradiso owes its nickname, a pop temple. On May 26 and 27, 1995, the band—already stadium-sized at the time—gave two intimate concerts, parts of which ended up on the famous live album *Stripped*.
The concerts were also captured for the documentary *Totally Stripped*. All of this makes it one of the most memorable moments in Paradiso's history. The performance by Ronnie Wood and his band in 2026 now follows up on this.
