Boko Yout is a Swedish musician with African roots. He creates what he calls Afro-grunge: an explosive mix of alt-rock, punk, experiment, and influences from traditional African music. Growing up in Scandinavia, he often felt like an outsider, an experience he translates into music that chafes, comforts, and challenges. His breakthrough came in 2023 with the EP 'AS SEEN ON TV', which received critical acclaim in his home country. He is now conquering the rest of Europe. Boko Yout, along with his band, is known for captivating live shows full of visuals, improvisation, spoken word, and raw energy.
