Bulgarian Cartrader is the genre-blurring music project of Daniel Stoyanov - an artist born in Sofia, raised in Germany, and now based in Berlin, with a voice as distinctive as his background. Stoyanov started modestly performing at wedding gigs but has since made a name for himself in the music industry as a sought-after singer. His talents led him to major competitions - he co-wrote and performed as a background vocalist for the stadium-filling German band SEEED, collaborating with artists like Solomun, Casper, and Marteria.

The idea for Bulgarian Cartrader arose at an unexpected moment of inspiration: while delivering a car for a friend. The name stuck, and the project became a vessel for Stoyanov's unique musical vision. After leaving his major label-signed band Malky, he disappeared into the studio, spending countless solitary days and nights writing, performing, and producing what would become his debut album 'Motor Songs' released in 2022.

After a quiet year of recalibration, he is back: independent and recharged. His new single, released on May 16 through his recently launched Uncomfortable Chair Records, marks the beginning of a bold new chapter for one of the most intriguing voices in indie music.

How to get to Paradiso: Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
