De Bibabutzeman is a mischievous, bogeyman-like figure from German folklore who delights in making things disappear. But where do they actually end up?
For one evening, we invite you to enter his hideout.
An evening full of live music, experiment, and unexpected encounters in the hidden gem of Tempel Amsterdam. Throughout the evening, five different sets unfold that move freely between songwriting, improvisation, noise, and everything in between.
Radio Trapani presents a new solo set with intimate background music, consisting of guitar, vocals, and subtle electronics.
Sara Guidolin brings a solo set for voice and cello to Tempel, switching between her own songs and improvisations that arise live on stage. With the help of loops and subtle amplification, she builds her music layer by layer, floating between songwriting and free improvisation.
Brigadera explores storytelling through intimate, stimulating songs and cathartic improvisation. The duo of Beatrice Sberna and Gabriel de Oliveira describes their music as impro-songwriting, influenced by Italian cantautori, Brazilian folk traditions, avant-garde jazz, and contemporary pop.
GOATMOTHER started as an experimental home-recording project and now brings that quirky sound to the stage. Expect avant-pop, electronics, noise, punk, and guitar drone coming at you at 200 kilometers per hour.
The evening also marks the first showcase of Jipo in Amsterdam, with musical selections spread throughout the evening. Jipo was founded in Italy as an independent record label and publishing studio and embraces both nihilism and the possibility of confessing and sublimating it. Music is a universal language for Jipo, not because everyone understands it, but because it works even before understanding arises. With a continuously growing multimedia catalog, Jipo brings together artists from diverse musical backgrounds and stimulates experimentation, exchange, and unexpected collaborations.
