We know American singer/guitarist Chuck Ragan as the co-frontman of the punk rock band Hot Water Music (which celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2025), but since 2007 he has also maintained a thriving solo career. With his sandpaper voice, Ragan sounds like Bruce Springsteen after a three-night party, although thanks to his punk-esque folk rock he also brings to mind his musical friends Frank Turner and Brian Fallon (Gaslight Anthem). After all these years in the business, Ragan only gets better: his latest solo album Love & Lore (2024) might just be his best to date!
