The American guitar band The Lemonheads colored the nineties with a mix of grunge, power pop, and folk rock, resulting in now-classic albums such as It's A Shame About Ray (1992), Come On Feel The Lemonheads (1993), and the underrated Car Button Cloth (1996). Fast forward: last year saw the release of Love Chant, The Lemonheads' first record with original material since 2006, following two cover albums. Frontman Evan Dando's voice is slightly lower, the songs are more melancholic and reflective, but the unique Lemonheads DNA shines through undiminished!
