Heaven Let Haarlem Die. In 2024, Counterparts surprised us with perhaps their hardest work yet. On Wednesday, February 4, the Canadian hardcore band comes to Patronaat for the sixth time! With Sunami, One Step Closer, and God Complex as special guests, this will be a night to remember. The 'Heaven Let Them Die' EP is a continuation of the themes from their previous album, A Eulogy for Those Still Here, emphasizing singer Brendan Murphy's processing of loss and the threat of mortality. Musically, it is characterized by a hard, raw, and unfiltered sound with influences from hardcore, sludge, and post-hardcore.
Counterparts has long been a favorite guest at Patronaat.
