With 25 stalls from entrepreneurs from Noord, music, dance workshops, children's activities, and a bouncy castle, it is a day that brings the district together. The festival is an initiative of Ellen Brudet, founder of Colourful Goodies, who, with her shop, is a true pioneer in the field of diversity in toys and stories. Ellen and Colourful Goodies play a defining role and have become an integral part of the district, making them a logical partner for a day on which the children of Noord literally claim their place in the streetscape.
On August 15, the Entrance to Noord will be festively unveiled with a spectacular catwalk show, amidst the Colourful Noord Festival in the garden of Tolhuistuin. The unveiling marks the moment when the children return their own artwork to the neighborhood: a colorful entrance, conceived and created by themselves.
