The American singer-songwriter David Eugene Edwards is known as the frontman of Wovenhand and 16 Horsepower, bands with which he makes threatening, religiously tinged country, blues, and folk. The stage personality of the American is just as intense: wherever he performs, the audience feels that the apocalypse is approaching within a few hours. Tonight is dedicated to Edwards' second solo album Mercurial Silence, which will be released on May 22, 2026, the successor to Hyacinth (2023). The first two released tracks Sun Of Manes and Uraeus sound like vintage Edwards!
